There are several ways to book accommodations on Ethnic BNB. Some hosts want to get to know a
guest before confirming a booking, while others prefer to reduce the time it
takes to manage requests using Ethnic
BNB's instant booking feature.
Buttons to book a stay on Ethnic BNB:
The Booking Request button sends a booking request to a host for
the travel dates you have selected. The host has the option to either accept or
decline the request or ask you questions about your trip. When a host responds
to your request, we'll send you an email to let you know. If they don't respond
within 24 hours, your request simply expires.
The Instant Book button immediately confirms your reservation
and closes the host's calendar to other incoming requests. We send you an acknowledgement
of receipt by email with the details of your trip. Your host can also contact
you.
The Contact Host button allows you to start a conversation about
their accommodation and their style of accommodation via our secure messaging
system. You can use our messaging system to discuss trip details, request
special prices, or inquire about specific amenities.
Payment and confirmation:
Whether you use the Booking Request button or the Instant Book
button, we will ask you for your payment details so that we can maintain your
booking.
If you use the Booking Request button to send a request, the
host has 24 hours to respond. We will only charge your payment method once the
host has accepted your booking. Once the host has agreed, we will process your
payment and send you a congratulatory email including your receipt, trip
details, and best wishes for a great trip. If you don't receive a response
within 24 hours, your request automatically expires.
If you use the Instant Book button, your booking will be
confirmed immediately and we will process your payment immediately.
